An Orioles Victory in Detroit!
Hey O's fans! What a thrilling game we had against the Tigers today. We came out on top with a 4-2 win, and it was filled with some great moments from our boys.
Strong Start Despite Missed Chances
In the top of the 1st, Gunnar Henderson got us going with a walk and then stole second.
Cedric Mullins followed with another walk. Unfortunately, Anthony Santander hit into a double play, and Adley Rutschman struck out looking, leaving us stranded. Our defense kept the Tigers at bay in the bottom of the inning with a strikeout and a double play. Nice work!Breaking the Deadlock
We were scoreless until the top of the 3rd when Henderson doubled to right.
Mullins then came through, driving in Henderson with a single to center, putting us up 1-0. Mullins continued to shine by stealing second, but we couldn't bring him home. Nonetheless, we took the lead! 
Adding Some Insurance
In the top of the 7th, after Emmanuel Rivera was hit by a pitch and Livan Soto doubled to right, James McCann hit a sacrifice fly to left, scoring Rivera. Henderson then blasted a homer to right, bringing in Soto and making it 4-0!
That shot (369 feet) was a beauty!Holding the Line
The bottom of the 7th and 8th innings saw solid pitching and defense from our side, preventing the Tigers from making any dent in our lead. Our bullpen was stellar tonight, keeping the pressure on Detroit.Tense Final Inning
The 9th inning was a bit nerve-wracking. Parker Meadows hit a solo homer for the Tigers, and after a few hits, the Tigers managed to score another run, making it 4-2. But, thanks to Domínguez's resilience, we managed to close it out without further damage. Phew!
Conclusion
What a game! We saw strong performances from Henderson, Mullins, and our bullpen. Let's keep this momentum going, O's! Next game, here we come!
