Dominant First Inning Sets the Tone
What a thrilling game, Braves fans! From the very beginning, our boys showed they meant business. Michael Harris II lined out, followed by Jorge Soler and Marcell Ozuna doubling to left. This set the stage for Matt Olson, who doubled to left, driving in Ozuna for our first run. But the true highlight was Jarred Kelenic sending a monstrous homer to right, bringing Olson and Travis d'Arnaud home. A massive inning!

Rockies Attempt a Comeback
The Rockies didn't go down without a fight. Sam Hilliard tripled to right, scoring Nolan Jones, and Charlie Blackmon doubled to right, bringing Hilliard home. But our defense, led by Travis d'Arnaud behind the plate, kept hounding them. They only managed to chip away with two runs. The Braves held firm with a solid four-run cushion. Braves: 4, Rockies: 2Sixth Inning Insurance Run
Our Braves added an insurance run in the 6th inning. Michael Harris II doubled to right, followed by a single from Jorge Soler that allowed Harris II to cross home plate. Elo White (running for Soler) even stole second, keeping the pressure on the Rockies' bullpen. This run gave us a much-needed buffer! Braves: 5, Rockies: 2Stellar Bullpen Performance
The bullpen was lights out tonight. Lee, Johnson, Jiménez, and finally Iglesias kept the Rockies at bay with surgical precision. No hits, no runs from the Rockies after the 5th inning. Striking out batters left and right, our bullpen provided the lockdown we needed to seal the victory.
Closing the Game in Style
The 9th inning was tense, but our closer, Iglesias, made sure the Rockies had no chance. A flyout, a strikeout, and another walk followed by a swing-and-miss from pinch hitter Cave finished the game. A textbook save situation handled perfectly!
Final Thoughts
Overall, it was another stellar performance at Truist Park! Key hits from Ozuna, Olson, and that incredible homer by Kelenic highlighted our firepower. Tip of the cap to our bullpen who shut the door on any Rockies’ hopes. Keep this momentum going, Braves!

Final Score: Braves 5, Rockies 2
Let's keep chopping!
