Tough Loss in San Francisco
Rockies fans, last night's game against the Giants was a tough one to watch. The final score was 4-1 in favor of San Francisco, and despite some moments of hope, we couldn't pull off a win. Here's a recap of the action.
Early Chances but No Runs
The game started with a bit of promise when Brenton Doyle doubled to center in the top of the 1st inning. However, Ezequiel Tovar's and Elias Díaz's strikeouts quickly put a halt to our momentum

Giants Strike First
In the bottom of the 2nd inning, the Giants went ahead with Matt Chapman's solo homer to left (390 feet)

Toglia's Heroics and Errors Hurt Us
Fast forward to the top of the 7th inning: Michael Toglia brought some joy with a solo homer to right. Tied 1-1, it finally felt like we had a chance!

More Defensive Struggles and Game Slipping Away
Things went from bad to worse in the bottom of the 8th. A double error involving Lambert allowed another run to score. The Giants extended their lead to 4-1, making our chance of a comeback highly unlikely

Final Push Falls Short
The top of the 9th saw some fight from our boys. Kris Bryant got hit by a pitch and Elias Diaz singled to right, giving us a glimmer of hope. However, Toglia grounded into a double play, squashing our final rally and sealing the win for the Giants.
It's tough to swallow this loss, but let's keep our heads up. Baseball is a rollercoaster ride
