Pitchers Step Up Early
Both teams' pitchers were absolutely on point through the early innings. Our ace was getting it done, keeping their hitters in check. We saw strong performances especially from Littell, who was solid through his outing, giving up minimal hits and no runs until the 5th. No movement on either side until the top of the 5th when Jeremy Peña broke the deadlock with a solo homer to left center, giving the Astros a 1-0 lead.Struggling to Get on Base

A Chance to Make a Comeback
Things started to get interesting in the 7th inning when Josh Lowe walked and got to third base thanks to some heads-up base running. However, we just couldn't bring him home
It wasn't until the 8th inning when Walls walked, stole two bases, and eventually scored on a fielder's choice by Díaz, tying the game up at 1-1. Excitement was building, but we couldn’t keep that momentum going as Jose Caballero was caught stealing second.

Tough break, folks, but let’s keep our heads up! We showed we can hang with a strong team like the Astros. Let’s rally behind our Rays and look forward to bouncing back in the next game!
