Tough Night for the Jays: A Game Recap
Hey fellow Blue Jays fans
Off to a Shaky Start
The game started with some promise as our pitcher managed to hold the fort, but Shohei Ohtani's solo homer in the top of the 1st quickly dampened spirits. We knew right then this wasn't going to be easy. Despite our hopes, the Jays couldn't muster a response in the bottom of the inning, with George Springer, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and Bo Bichette all failing to spark a rally.
Dodgers Take Control
The Dodgers really took the wind out of our sails in the 3rd inning, putting up a whopping six runs. Max Muncy's three-run homer was the crusher. The Jays' response? Not what we needed. A lone bright spot came in the bottom of the 4th with Danny Jansen's home run, but by then, the scoreline was a daunting 8-1.The Struggle Continues
We saw some effort to claw back in the later innings, including a small rally in the 8th that led to our second run thanks to Guerrero Jr.'s groundout bringing Cavan Biggio home.

A Night to Forget
Ending the game 12-2, it was one of those nights where nothing seemed to click for us. From the mound to the bat, the Dodgers outplayed us in every aspect. While Jansen gave us a moment to cheer about and Springer tried to ignite a late spark, the Dodgers' relentless offense was just too much to handle.
Looking Ahead
Games like these are tough to swallow, but they're part of the grind of a 162-game season. Let's rally behind our Jays, shake off the dust, and get ready for the next one. Remember, it's all about how we bounce back. Let's turn those
