Tough Loss for the Halos 
Hey Angels fans, it was a bit of a rough game last night against the Mets, ending in a 5-1 loss. We had a few bright moments, but the Mets' pitching and timely hitting were too much for us to overcome.Strong Start for Schanuel 
Nolan Schanuel kicked things off with a single to right field in the bottom of the first inning. Unfortunately, we couldn't capitalize as Luis Rengifo struck out and Logan O'Hoppe walked before Willie Calhoun grounded into a double play to end the inning.Angels Tie it Up! 
In the bottom of the second, Mickey Moniak singled to right, followed by Zach Neto getting hit by a pitch. Jo Adell then came through with a single to left, scoring Moniak and tying the game at 1-1. Sadly, Adell was caught stealing, and Luis Guillorme struck out to end the inning.Alonso's Big Blast 
The top of the 3rd inning saw Pete Alonso hitting a two-run homer to left, putting the Mets up 3-1. This hit really shifted the momentum in their favor, and we struggled to bounce back.Mets Extend the Lead 
In the top of the 6th, the Mets added two more runs. Harrison Bader scored on a single by J.D. Martinez, and Francisco Lindor scored on an error by Zach Neto. This brought the score to 5-1, and that’s where it stayed.Pitching Struggles 
Our pitchers had a tough night. Baumann and Contreras did their best, but we couldn't keep the Mets off the board. Baumann gave up the crucial hits in the 6th, and errors haunted us throughout the game.Missed Opportunities 
We had some chances to close the gap, but it just didn’t come together. Taylor Ward walked in the 4th and later singled in the 6th. However, those innings ended without any runs, keeping us from mounting a comeback. Looking Ahead
