Mets Triumph Over Brewers
What a nail-biter, Mets fans!
Early Innings: Slow Start
The game started off with both teams struggling to get any runs on the board. Francisco Lindor kicked things off with a double in the top of the first inning, but the Mets couldn't capitalize. Fast forward to the bottom of the second, and Brewers' Gary Sánchez put down a double, but again, no runs. Both teams were locked scoreless, and it seemed like it might be a pitcher's game.Brewers Breakthrough in the 7th
It wasn't until the bottom of the seventh inning that we saw the first runs cross the plate. The Brewers' Jake Bauers and Sal Frelick each blasted solo homers to right field, putting them up 2-0. As a Mets fan, it was gut-wrenching to see those homers fly out, but the team wasn't ready to give up just yet.Mets' Heroics in the 9th
The ninth inning was where the magic happened, Mets fans!
Closing it Out
In the bottom of the ninth, David Peterson shut down the Brewers' hopes of a comeback. He got Joey Ortiz to strike out and wrapped things up with a double play. The Mets secured the win, proving once again that anything is possible with this team. A big shoutout to all of our guys out there on the diamond. Thanks for the thrilling game! Let's Go Mets!
