What a start to the Subway Series! Things got rolling in the first inning when Paul Goldschmidt reached base on an error, setting the stage for our very own MVP, Aaron Judge, who followed it up with a ground-rule double. Then, Cody Bellinger came through clutch with a double, sending both Goldschmidt and Judge racing across home plate. An early 2-0 lead for the Yanks!

The Mets managed to level things up by the 5th inning, but our boys in pinstripes weren’t letting them stay there for long. Meanwhile, Cody Bellinger continued his stellar performance. The excitement built to a crescendo in the 8th inning when the Yankees seized control. Austin Wells came alive with a double, bringing Jasson Domínguez to third. Thanks to a fielding error and Goldschmidt's clutch single, the Yankees added two more. The stage was set for Bellinger’s iconic grand slam into right-center, bringing our total to an impressive 8-2.

The Mets couldn't recover in the 9th inning against the unstoppable Yankees' bullpen. With Max Fried, Jonathan Loáisiga, Deivi Williams, and Ian Hill on the mound, all getting the job done throughout the game, ensuring no more runs for those Amazins'. A dominant pitching display complemented by a brilliant offensive outing brought us a thrilling victory at Yankee Stadium!
