Tough Start for the Angels
The game got off to a rocky start when Corey Seager of the Rangers blasted a two-run homer to center field in the top of the 1st inning, putting the Rangers up early, 2-0.Strong Comeback in the 2nd Inning
Our Angels showed some life in the bottom of the 2nd inning! After singles by Logan O'Hoppe and Brandon Drury, Mickey Moniak tripled to right field, driving in two runs and tying the game at 2-2. Then, Jo Adell singled to left, scoring Moniak and giving us a brief 3-2 lead.A Rough 4th Inning for the Angels
Unfortunately, the 4th inning was a disaster. After loading the bases, the Rangers took advantage of a balk, and timely hits brought in several runs. By the end of the inning, the Rangers were up 7-3.Late Game Struggles
The Rangers added two more runs in the 7th inning thanks to a home run by Wyatt Langford, extending their lead to 9-3. Moniak and Drury showed some fight in the 7th inning with their singles, and Anthony Rendon drove in Moniak to make it 9-4, but it wasn’t enough.Falling Short at the End
The Angels couldn’t mount any additional offense in the final innings, and a flurry of strikeouts and groundouts sealed our 9-4 defeat. Despite some bright spots in our lineup, the game ultimately slipped away from us.Chin up, Angels fans! We'll come back strong in the next one.
